Dr. John H. Parker Jr. was a pillar of Taylor County’s medical community for 35 years and his legacy here has continued long past his retirement in 1989 and his death in 2012.

Now both his name and his desire to improve the lives of the people of Taylor County will live on for many years to come after his family joined with the Doctors’ Memorial Hospital (DMH) Foundation to create the John H. Parker Jr. Memorial Fund to serve as an endowment to support the hospital in its mission to provide medical services to the community.
