Woman charged with DUI, child abuse after fleeing LEO with toddler in vehicle

A Perry mother was charged with child abuse after fleeing a law enforcement officer with her toddler–unrestrained in a child safety seat—in the vehicle with her.

Jennifer Cashman, 31, was also charged with driving under the influence (DUI) and fleeing/attempting to elude a law enforcement officer.
