The City of Perry is moving forward with the purchase of some 18 acres adjacent to its current wastewater treatment plant for a projected cost of $153,000 (the appraised value of the property).
A portion of the land will be utilized in the city’s sewer plant expansion project and the remaining 12-14 acres will “be available for any future use that may arise,” City Manager Bob Brown told the city council at it recent meeting.
