Concerns over organized recreational sports and operations at the Taylor County Sports Complex once again dominated discussions at the Taylor County Commission’s meeting Tuesday, with board members discussing and debating issues with a large group of parents and volunteers for nearly two hours.
By the end of meeting, which didn’t adjourn until after 9:30 p.m., commissioners took action on several immediate concerns raised by volunteers while vowing to continue working on the more global recreation issues of increased usage of sports complex fields as well as the fees imposed on those utilizing the complex.
