Summer food program announced

Stewart Memorial AME Church will be participating in the Summer Food Service Program, serving meals for children ages 18 and younger weekdays from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The program will begin June 8 and continue through July 31 at the church, located at 1113 West Hampton Springs Avenue. Transportation is available by calling 584-7194.

Nutritionally balanced meals will be provided to all children regardless of race, color, sex, disability, age or national origin during summer vacation while school breakfasts and lunches are not available.
