Registration is now open for Cub Scout Summer Camp slated July 7-11.
During the five-day camp, youth will be exploring three of the Native American tribes of Florida: the Apache, Seminole and Timucua tribes.
Activities will include building a life size teepee, learning to build a fire, clay molding, making drums and much more.
“You do not have to be a current Cub Scout to attend the day camp; however, due to insurance regulations, attendees must pay an additional $13 registration fee by the first day of camp,” Committee Chair Rainbow Brubaker said.
“The camp is open to all prospective scouts who will be starting grades first through fifth in the fall.”
Camp hours will be 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The camp will be held at First United Methodist Church.
