Unreported fire destroys residence

A residence off Sand Dollar Road was declared a total loss after fire consumed the home in a blaze believed to have happened sometime Saturday.

Taylor County Fire- Rescue Chief Dan Cassel said Monday the homeowner discovered the fire when he went down to the residence on Sunday.
