The Taylor County School Board has put on hold a number of recommended proposals designed to draw more bus drivers to the district after representatives of the Taylor County Non-Instructional Association (TCNIA) threatened legal action if the board acted unilaterally without negotiating with the bargaining unit over any salary issue covered by their contract.
While board members discussed the issue at length during their meeting Tuesday, they ultimately voted to table the proposals so they could hold a closed executive session following the meeting to speak with Board Attorney Angela Ball.
