Taylor County Habitat for Humanity is kicking off its summer fund-raising project by holding a drawing for a “Stay-cation” package valued at more than $1,000, to be given to a lucky ticketholder just in time for the July 4th holiday.
Volunteers will be selling raffle tickets Saturday, June 6, at Ragan’s Ace Hardware, a sponsor of the event.
The prize package includes: Adirondack chairs and picnic table sponsored by Taylor Technical Institute; a grill and accessories, provided by Ragans Ace Hardware; a marine cooler and water recreation item, provided by Walmart; a fishing goody basket, provided by Big Bend Outfitters; and a book for summer reading by the pool, donated by the Book Mart.
Tickets are $3 each or two for $5. The drawing will be held July 2.
