    2015-06-10-TCHS-Graduation

Family and friends of the 2015 graduating class of Taylor County High School (TCHS) filled much of Dorsett Stadium Saturday, June 6, for commencement ceremonies. Principal Audie Ash welcomed everyone to the event, followed by speeches from Salutatorian Cameron Collins, Valedictorian Rohan Patel and Senior Class President McKenzie Wynn.

The first diploma of the morning delivered was an honorary one for Angel Olivia Ketring, who died in 2012. The diploma was presented to her sister, Carmina Ketring, and Angel’s classmates honored her memory with a logo on their caps consisting of angel wings and her initials, AOK.

At the end of the ceremony, after all 126 graduating seniors had been presented with their diplomas, Ash led the assembled group in the changing of their tassels, signifying the closing chapter of their high school careers.
