Taylor County’s crime rate fell 7.2 percent in 2014, with the county possessing the 25th lowest rate among Florida’s 67 counties.
According to Florida Department of Law Enforcement’s (FDLE) recently released uniform crime report for 2014, the county’s crime index fell 7.5 percent, with 503 offenses reported compared to 544 in 2013.
