Judge hands down orders in McLeod, Denmark suit

A federal judge has given conditional approval for a substantial extension of the discovery deadline in the lawsuit filed by William Daniel McLeod Jr. and Jeremy Denmark against the City of Perry, and personnel with the sheriff’s office and police department.

In an order filed late last week, United States District Judge Robert L. Hinkle directed attorneys to notify their clients that such a delay could result in “likely additional expenses.”
