Arrowood faces life in prison or Death Row

A grand jury indicted Garrett A. Arrowood, 26, for first degree capital murder Monday afternoon in relation to the shooting death of his aunt, Shelly O’Steen Strickland, 50.

Arrowood was also indicted for armed burglary of an occupied dwelling, dealing in stolen property and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

PHOTO: Murder suspect Garrett Arrowood’s vehicle was towed from the back parking lot of the Taylor County Courthouse Saturday afternoon. Investigators said it is now being processed at the FDLE Crime Lab in Tallahassee.
