Bishop receives baseball scholarship

Austin Bishop, of Perry, a 2015 graduate of Aucilla Christian Academy, has received a baseball scholarship to Truett-McConnell, a private Christian college located in North Georgia.

Bishop said, “They intend on me possibly being a two-way player, so I will be pitching as well as playing the field and hitting.” He is the son of Don and Allison Bishop.
