    Escaped jail inmate nabbed on ‘Road to Nowhere’

    An exhaustive three-county search for an escaped jail inmate ended in the early morning hours of Friday, July 3, on a lonely stretch of highway aptly called “Road to Nowhere.”

    Jeremiah L. White, 26, was taken into custody without incident around 3:30 a.m. on Rocky Creek Bridge on Highway 361 in Dixie County by Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) Deputy Lindsey Shaw and Perry Police Department (PPD) K-9 Ptl. Kyle Johnson.
