Russell announces candidacy, pledging ‘change and action’

Frank Russell, saying he wants “action not reaction” from local government, has announced his candidacy for the Dist. 3 county commission seat.

“I believe the past few years have been very discouraging for the citizens of District 3 as quite a few promises have been made that have not been kept. District 3 pays some of the highest taxes in the county and in many ways it seems to the citizens of the district that we are not even considered part of the county–except to collect our tax dollars from us. That is the key reason I made the decision to run for county commissioner,” Russell said.
