Suspect ditches car, leaves his 1-year-old child behind

A violent felony offender was charged with child abuse after leading police on a traffic chase Monday night with his one-year-old child in the car with him.

Corey Dixon, 35, also faces charges of felony fleeing/attempting to elude, resisting without violence, reckless driving, driving with license revoked and attaching tag not assigned.
