DMH hopes to benefit from increased federal funding

With state and federal officials reaching a deal to bring an additional $1 billion in hospital funding to Florida, Doctors’ Memorial Hospital (DMH) is waiting to see how much, if any, of the money will reach here.

“We don’t really know what the terms and conditions are,” DMH CEO Tom Stone said, adding that it will ultimately be up to the Florida Legislature.
