Charles Parker

Charles Parker, 59, died Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2018, in Perry after an extended illness. Charles was born July 3, 1959 in Perry to Elizabeth Nixon and the late Charles Parker Sr.

Charles loved football and was an avid fan of the Minnesota Vikings.

He is survived by: his wife of 35 years, Colleen Parker; his daughter, Crystal Hawkins (Jamahl); his son, Chas Parker; two granddaughters; one sister, Kradesha Edwards (Myers); four brothers, Carlton Souter (Shirley), Dywayne Parker (Kia), Darius Jones and Roosevelt Nixon, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, Sept. 15, at 3 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church for family and close friends. Trinity funeral home is in charge of funeral arrangements.
