Three Taylor County residents, a Greenville man and Live Oak woman were involved in a four-vehicle crash that shut down Hwy. 27 East Wednesday afternoon. Despite a chaotic scene that stretched more than the length of a football field, including logs and air gas cylinders littering the roadway, first responders quickly extricated three victims from the wreckage — including one with serious injuries to his leg and arm and a woman trapped in a muddy ditch pinned under a F-150 truck.
