Marilyn Carlton Kinsey

With great sorrow the family of Marilyn Carlton Kinsey announces her passing on July 27, 2026. She was born Feb. 8, 1951 in Pensacola to Thomas and Ethel Carlton. Marilyn is survived by: her devoted husband of 54 years, David Kinsey; their children, Shana Carlsen (Joseph) and Aric Kinsey (Jennie); as well as grandsons Davis Kinsey, Dylan Kinsey, J.T. Carlsen, and Matthew Carlsen. Included is also bonus granddaughter, Chelsea Carlson, and bonus greatgranddaughters. Emma and Chloe Dawson, all from Glen Burnie, Md. She is further survived by her sisters, Linda Smith of Perry, and Pamela Yates of Chillicothe, Ohio, and a host of nieces and nephews. Marilyn was preceded in death by: her parents, Thomas and Ethel Carlton; and brothers-in-law, Richard “Dicky” Smith and William Yates. Marilyn’s life was celebrated graveside during a service on Saturday, Aug. 1, at 10 a.m. in Carlton Cemetery in Perry. All services are under the care of Joe P. Burns Funeral Home of Perry, FL.
