Fall Seed & Nutrition Workshop slated Aug. 14 at library

Whether you’re an experienced gardener or planting your very first seeds, the UF/IFAS Extension Taylor County Office and the Taylor County Public Library invite the community to attend a free Fall Seed & Nutrition Workshop on Friday, Aug. 14, at 10:30 a.m. at the Taylor County Public Library.

The workshop will be taught by UF/IFAS Extension Agents Lisa Strange and Lori Wiggins, and will provide practical information to help gardeners have a successful fall growing season.

Participants will learn which vegetables thrive during the fall months, tips for planting and caring for cool-season crops, and simple ways to incorporate fresh, homegrown produce into healthy meals.
