Sarah C. Knowles peacefully passed away in her home on Oct. 3, 2026, at the age of 44.

She was born on July 2, 1982, to her loving parents, Susan Cote and Howard Houck.

Sarah attended Taylor County High School, where she graduated cum laude.

She went on to work as a pharmacy technician at Winn-Dixie and Walgreens, where she dedicated herself to helping others.

Sarah was preceded in death by: her beloved husband of 22 years, Jefferson Daniel Knowles; her grandparents, Conrad R. Cote and Augusta M. Cote; and her aunt, Jackie Cote Lawson.

She is survived by: her mother, Susan Cote; her father, Howard Houck; her sister, Ramona Houck Reams; and her four beloved children, Alex, Austin, Amanda and Ashton Knowles; along with a host of nieces, nephews, family members and loved ones.

Sarah will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A memorial service celebrating the life of Sarah C. Knowles will be held on Friday, Oct. 9, at 4 p.m. at Evangel Christian Fellowship in Perry.

The service will be officiated by Pastor Justin Webb.
