Facing frequent vandalism and a lack of resources to properly maintain its Hampton Springs Park, the county is looking for “creative solutions” for the park’s future, one of which could be leasing the property to a private individual for stewardship.
The park is the site of the historic Hotel Hampton, a world-renowned resort for North Florida in the early 1900s. The building burned down in 1954.
