Crash victim released from Shands

The Taylor County mother seriously injured in an automobile crash involving a log truck last week was released from Shands Hospital in Gainesville Monday and has returned home to recover.

Deirdre Drawdy Rehberg, 32, underwent two additional surgeries on Friday for wrist and ankle fractures sustained in the crash. (She had surgery last Thursday to repair multiple broken ribs.)
