Seven years ago, Tina Bell had just returned home from work in Broward County when her son told her somebody had called and said his sister, Angel, had been shot in the head.
“We didn’t know what was going on. I called the house where Angel (and her boyfriend) was and all I got was a busy signal. I was able to get the operator to break the line and the man who answered said, ‘The only thing I can tell you is she (Angel) is outside lying on the ground and I don’t think she is alive’,” Bell said.
