During a special meeting Tuesday afternoon, the Perry City Council agreed to buy several downtown land parcels for some $45,000 to $47,000, cementing its ownership of all property needed to complete Rosehead Park.
Auley Rowell owns the six lots, located along Ellis Street. He will also be donating two additional lots to the city, both located in Folsom Park (on Center Street).
