‘Tis the season to celebrate but the Perry Police Department (PPD) reminds residents to always make sure to have a designated driver and to be vigilant in watching for impaired drivers while traveling.
“The national average (from 2012) is 27 fatalities a day in December related to drunk or impaired driving. We want to do our part locally to held reduce that average,” Capt. Jamie Cruse said.
