New year brings renewed focus on Hwy. 19 corridor

Perry will turn the page to a new chapter in its efforts to beautify and improve the Highway 19 business corridor with several projects on tap for early 2015.

City Finance Director Penny Staffney, who volunteers with the Hwy. 19 Improvement Committee. has stepped up to lead the efforts and recently shared the latest updates with the Perry City Council.

PHOTO: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will be undertaking three new improvement projects for Highway 19, including replacing numerous palm trees, additional landscaping and signage.
