Norman Leroy Tedder Jr.,
71, passed away on January 30, 2020, in Tallhassee. Norman was born June 8,
1948, in Owasso, Michigan, to Norman Leroy Tedder Sr. and Marie Isabelle Lewis
Tedder.
Norman was of the Baptist faith and was a member
of New Home Baptist Church. He worked as a Safety
Coordinator with Florida Gas Transmission in Perry for more than 33
years.
He was also a member of
Perry Elks Lodge, Camp Misery Hunting Club and Three Rivers Hunting Club.
Norman loved the outdoors. Hunting and fishing were his passions. He loved
cooking and being with his family and friends.
Norman was preceded in death by his parents,
Norman Leroy Tedder Sr. and Marie Isabelle Lewis Tedder.
Norman is survived by his wife of 51
years, Mary Louise Tedder, his two sons, John and his wife Christy,
Michael and his wife Randi, his sister Christine Stewart and her husband Jimmy,
his two grandchildren Garrett and Austin, his niece Dawn Singletary and her
husband Joel, his nephew Jeremy Stewart and his wife Maricel, and his niece
Brenda Short.
Funeral Services were held on Monday,
February 3 at 11 a.m. at Joe P. Burns Funeral Home with Bro. Billy
Gipson officiating. Interment services followed immediately afterwards at
Pisgah Cemetery. The family received friends on Sunday, February 2 from 3
to 5 p.m. at the funeral home. All arrangements are under the direction of
Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
