Geneva M. Cannon Slaughter

Geneva M. Cannon Slaughter, 86, died on Feb. 25, 2023. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by: her husband of 65 years, Lee Slaughter; her parents, Ira and Minnie Cannon; her daughter, Terry Ciehak; and her siblings, Buddy Cannon, Winston Cannon, Harley Cannon, Jimmy Ray Cannon, Jessie Lee Cannon, Ruby Cannon, Jessie Brunell and Treva Chaistain. She is survived by: son Roger (Jean) Slaughter; daughter, Lori Harris; daughter-in-law, Katrina Duckworth; brother Pete Cannon; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, April 1, at 10 a.m. At Crosspoint Baptist Fellowship Church. Her family welcomes all to attend.
