Charles Brooks, Sr., 66 of Perry, passed away at home on Feb. 28, 2023.

He was a member of New Brooklyn Missionary Baptist Church, where his funeral will be held on Saturday, March 11, at 11 a.m.

Public viewing will be held Friday, March 10, from 5-7 p.m. at Evans Walker Funeral Home (907 Homer J. Smith Avenue).

Charles is survived by: his children, Mara Brooks, Charles Brooks Jr., Delrikos Brooks, Anthony Brooks (Tiffany) and Olisia Rowe (Joe Sr.); siblings, James Lockett (Carol Dean), Cal Lockett, Cynthia Brooks and Margie McGee; 34 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
