Ira “Bubba” Landry Jr.

Ira “Bubba” Landry Jr., 91, passed away peacefully on Jan. 28, 2025, at Port St. Lucie. He was born Feb. 5, 1933, in Perry. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 56 years, June Landry. Together, they built a life of love and cherished memories. He is survived by his daughters, Julie Watts, Sharon King, Sandy Bateman and Paulette Anderson, and numerous grandchildren. As a young man, Ira worked with his family on their dairy farm in Perry. He then moved to Miami and worked in the boating industry until eventually owning his own marine business. In his retirement years, he enjoyed boating and f ishing. Ira will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery in Perry. A graveside memorial will be held at a later date. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. May his legacy bring comfort and peace to all who mourn his passing.
