FEMA denies school district’s request for insurance deductible

FEMA has denied a $1.5 million funding request from the Taylor County School District to cover insurance deductible costs related to the multi-million dollar roof replacement project at Taylor County High School (TCHS) due to damage from Hurricane Idalia in 2023.
