Taylor County 4-H members shine at the Florida State Fair

From Feb. 8-14, three talented Taylor County 4-H members competed at the Florida State Fair, where they were surrounded by more than 200 cattle exhibitors from across the USA. (Above, top to bottom) Anna Pemberton took home first place in the Charolais heifer division with her heifer, Pearl, in both the Open and Youth divisions. She also earned third place with her heifer, Jewel. Macy Lundy earned sixth place with her Simmental heifer, Astrid, and grand champion with her bull, Gulf Coast Big Iron. Raylee Harris impressed in the Charolais heifer division, earning fourth place in both showmanship and her division.
