EMT sues Sheriff over 911 dispatch ‘negligence’

A local EMT has filed suit against Taylor County Sheriff Wayne Padgett, alleging he suffered “severe emotional and physical injuries” resulting from the negligence of a 911 dispatcher who failed to warn first responders of an individual holding someone at gunpoint at the scene of an emergency medical call.
