Larry Charles Lander

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Larry Charles Lander, who left this world on March 5, 2025, at the age of 90.

Born on May 12, 1934, in St. Petersburg, Larry spent his life with his wife of 70 years, Jo Lynn, whom he loved, becoming a beloved figure in the community through his work and the relationships he built.

Larry served as the president and CEO of Blockers Transfer and Storage Company, a position that showcased his leadership skills and dedication to excellence in his field. His unwavering commitment and tireless work ethic contributed to the success of the company, earning him the respect and admiration of colleagues and business partners alike.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jo Lynn Lander; his son, Dean Lander; and his brothers, David and Wayne.

Larry is survived by: his sister, Dorothy Tabor; his niece and caregiver, Cindy Warf; his sister-in-law, Nancy Lander; and a host of nieces and nephews.

All arrangements are under the care of Joe P. Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
