Mary Louise Weatherly Grimm was called home on March 20, 2025.
Louise, as she was known to all, was born July 31, 1935, in Taylor County and was the daughter of John T. and Effie Lee Weartherly.
She was preceded in death by: her first husband, George Oliver Huff; her third husband, John Grimm; and one son, Dean Huff.
She is survived by: two sons, Clayton Huff and his wife, Ann, of Perry and Howard Huff and his wife, Beverly, of Crawfordville; one daughter, Amy McGuire of Tallahassee; three grandchildren, Clay Huff and his wife, Jesse, Christina Huff and Latasha Davila and her husband, Rene; two great-grandchildren, Lincoln and Lydia Davila; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Louise lived most of her life in Perry and Tallahassee, having had many different jobs. The one most remembered was her time working at Gayfers.
In her early years, Louise and her first husband, Oliver, enjoyed camping and fishing with her family and, later in life, she enjoyed time spent with friends, family and church members.
She was a member of the Church of Christ, and her faith carried her through many hard times.
She lived a long and happy life and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 25, at noon at Ash Street Church of Christ in Perry. Visitation was held one hour prior to the service.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations to Big Bend Hospice would be appreciated.
Beggs Funeral Home, Perry Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
