Van L. Miller Sr.

In Loving Memory of Van L. Miller Sr., 64, of Kent, Wash., formerly of Perry, Fla., passed away on Aug. 25, 2025. Born in Perry, he went on to proudly serve his country as a veteran of the U.S. Army. Van was the devoted father of four children: Saneetris Miller-Bellamy, Van L. Miller Jr., Peter Miller, and Deidre Miller. He was a cherished grandfather to nine grandchildren, with two more blessings on the way. He will be remembered for his incredible sense of humor, his sharp fashion sense in his younger years, and the love he had for family. A memorial service to honor his life will be held Saturday, Sept. 20, 20025, at So Good Events at 1310 South Jefferson Street in Perry. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate Van’s life and legacy.
