Mavis Golla McGowan died Monday, Sept. 15, 2025.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Sept. 18, at 11 a.m. at Burns Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Pisgah Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10 a.m.

Burns Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
