Mother Nonis Nash Jones, 94, of Perry departed this life on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 20, at 1 p.m. at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Perry, with interment to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Viewing will be held Friday, Sept. 19, from 4-6 p.m., at New Bethel. Mother Nonis is survived by: her niece and conventional daughter, Tonya L. Bell (Clinton) of Perry; her grandchildren, Donovan Roberts, Hakeemah Bailey-Bowman, Nathan McCleod, Turrell BomarSweet, Shawn Jones, Reba Newsome (Andre) and Tamel Hunt (Omar); her stepdaughter, Rosa Williams (George); her great-grandchildren, Qualyn Bailey, Kareem Bailey, Rahe’ Kemp, Nathan Jr., Devin, Darnae, Nina, Jayden and Lyla McCleod; nephew and great-grand, Dereke D. Franklin Jr. of Perry; niece and family caregiver, Charise Allen (Mose) of Perry; niece and family caregiver, Patricia Nash-Borden of Cairo, Ga.; and nephew and family caregiver, Eugene Jones (Willie Mae) of Perry.
