Gary Wayne Allen departed this life on March 8, 2026, just three days before his 67th birthday. He was a loving husband, father and son. A resident of Taylor County for 30 years, he was a well-known painter in the community. Gary was preceded in death by his father, Charles F. Allen. He is survived by: his loving wife, Hilda; his daughter, Stefanie; his sons, Seth, Chaz, Clinton and Greg; a special grandson, Anthony; granddaughters, Gracie and Krislyn; his mother, Lucille Allen; and f ive siblings. A memorial service will be held in his honor on Saturday, March 28, at 11:30 a.m. at Perry First Assembly of God Church (828 West Julia Street). “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
