Robert “Kevin” Tucker of Waxahachie, Texas, passed away on March 28, 2026. He was 51. Kevin was born in Perry to Eric Jonathan Tucker and the late Bessie Lee Tucker on Sept. 13, 1974. He was the younger brother of Jonathan Wayne Tucker. Kevin proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and even tried to enlist when he was 11 years old. Throughout his life, he enjoyed sports, frequently beating his family in March Madness brackets, playing golf and coaching his kids’ sports teams. He loved hunting with Christopher and Kaylee, even though they weren’t always completely still; fishing for trout, redfish and bass; and drinking chocolate milk and eating breakfast with his family. Kevin loved his wife and enjoyed spending time together, exploring new things on weekend trips around Texas and making memories out of everyday things. He enjoyed traveling, with his most recent trip taking him to Colorado, Wyoming and Montana. He always wanted to see the West and was able to do this with his wife and kids – driving through national parks, spotting wild animals and enjoying the beautiful landscape, something he always loved. Kevin was strong in his faith, wanted to be an encouragement to others and found great comfort in his relationship with God. He is lovingly remembered by: his wife of 10 years, Jency Lynn Tucker (Bonham); children, Christopher Ryne Tucker, Kaylee Morgan Tucker, Tyler Brent Bonham (Jordan) and Brady Simmons Bonham; grandson, Hunter James; and many family and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, April 3, at 1 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home in Perry, followed by funeral services at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Carlton Cemetery
