Molly Anne Hendry Lilliott

Molly Anne Hendry Lilliott, 85, went home to be with the Lord on Aug. 8, 2026. She was born in Palatka on July 28, 1941, to Sidney Haven Hendry and Annie Mae Horton Hendry. A faithful servant of the Lord, Molly dedicated much of her life serving the Lord and others at New Home Baptist Church. Throughout the years, she served in many roles, including working in the preschool department and serving as the church organist. As a lifelong member of New Home Baptist Church, her legacy of service and devotion to God will live on in the many lives she touched. Molly worked for more than 30 years in various roles in county government and was serving as Taylor County’s Supervisor of Elections when she retired. She found great pride in serving her community and was honored to be elected. Left to cherish these memories are: her beloved high school sweetheart and husband of 64 years, Robert “Bob” Lilliott; her children, Robin (Charles) Walker, Kristie (Alex) Lutz; and her granddaughter Sydney Ann Walker, all of Perry; host of nieces and a nephew, Jane (Lewis) Harrison of Virgina Beach, Va., Julia (Matt) Wester of Tallahassee, Karen Hendry, Dale Allbritton, Jesika Hewitt and Eli Lilliott, all of Perry; her bonus family, Marvin and Rhonda Brooks, their children, Taylor (Will) Ohms and Kyle (Ashley) Brooks, and their grandson, Carter Ohms; along with great-nieces, and greatnephews, extended family members and dear friends. Molly was proceeded in death by: her parents, Sidney and Annie Mae Hendry; siblings and their spouses, Herbert (Betty Dale) Hendry and Ima (Ralph) Richard; two nephews, Mark Richard and James Hendry; her in-laws, Robert and Zelda Lilliott; and brother-in-law, Eduard Lilliott Sr. Our family would like to remember the organ donor whose selfless gift made the last 16 years of Molly’s life possible. Because of this extraordinary gift, we were blessed with 16 additional years filled with love, memories, laughter and precious moments with our loved one. Through this journey, our family has learned firsthand the incredible importance of organ donation. We encourage everyone to become an organ donor to help other families make unforgettable memories with their loved ones. Services to celebrate Molly’s life will be held Tuesday, Aug. 11, at 11 a.m. at New Home Baptist Church of Perry with Brother Dustin Logan officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, Aug. 10, from 5-7 p.m. at New Home Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Florida Baptist Children’s Home, Big Bend Hospice or the charity of your choice.
