It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bruce Kenneth Harty Sr., who left us on May 4, 2025, at the age of 75. Bruce was born on Feb, 1, 1950, in Staten Island, N..Y, and called Perry his home since 1989. He dedicated his career grandchildren, to being a boiler operator at P&G, where he was known for his hard work and commitment. But more than profession, he his truly cherished his time spent with his family. He was a proud father to his children, Bruce Harty Jr., Brian Harty, Megan Harty and Dylan Harty, and a loving grandfather to five Bridgette, Kiley Mae, Jacob, Lucas “The Bruce” and Hagen Matthew, whom he loved dearly. Bruce was also a selfproclaimed movie buff; he could often be found engrossed in a good film, sharing his love for cinema with those around him. He will be remembered not just for his passion for movies, but for the many stories, jokes, quotes and puns he would tell along with the warmth and joy he brought to the lives of everyone who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Nora Harty, and five siblings Edward, Francis, Sandra, Judy, and Maureen Harty. A Celebration of Life may be held at a later date.
